Painting

I have a bit of a hard time when it comes to painting. I think it is the unpredictability of it… Paint just doesn’t do what I tell it to do. My paintbrush is not so well behaved as my 2B pencil, say. Of course, living with the happy accidents is part of the fun of it, especially if you can fiddle with the stuff in good ole Photoshop and regain a modicum of control.

    • Brianne>> That is very flattering… thank you! I actually cropped that image from a wider spread that has a lot of EXTRA space on the left hand side where the text will go. The proportions maybe better for a desktop? Email me if you’d like a JPG.

    • Sam>>Well, thank you. I suppose what I was trying to say is that I cannot get a painting to work without resorting to a major overhaul of the analog painting in Photoshop.

Blecha>> I would really like a “command Z” for my life.

Alan>> Thanks. Actually, it is about 3 paintings (not “one”) combined in photoshop.
