Very Entertaining! I'm jealous.

Next up: the Kokoda Trail (or perhaps the Appalachian Trail, yes?).

Last night we were watching a show on Animal Planet about the most deadly Australian animals: Great Whites, Bull Sharks, taipans, brown snakes, box jelly fish, funnel-webs, etc.

Jack has decided he doesn't want to go to Australia anymore.

George>>Yes, there were a lot of venomous creepy crawlies about... but they tend to get out of the way. There is nothing down there that will devour you while camping, unlike here in the USA.

Belinda & Judi>> Thanks for commenting! The grandfather amongst us was Richard Hubbard.

Joy>> Thanks for reading!

Tony>> No... none of us were contemplating cannibalism... though it is true that we are all carrying a fair bit of meat on our bones these days, it would have been chewy takings, methinks... so it was freeze dried food, trail mix and cup-noodle type stuff (after the first night, when we ate all the sausages and eggs). And we were all too out of breath and too far from alcohol for the "i love you man" stuff. Sorry. (besides, that is more CALIFORNIA that Australia)

Dave>> If only there was a market for me to ramble on about this sort of stuff, that would be lovely.
