Great seeing you again this year – and I applaud you for keeping the spirit of the Con alive. I really hope you come back – even if it’s a smaller deal. Maybe next time we could do breakfast or something – our meet-ups are all to brief! All the best.

I had a lot of similar thoughts this year at SDCC. I used to discover a little gem of an artist, or a fantastic book every year. Now it’s so HUGE, that just doesn’t happen any more. I spend most of my time fighting the crowds, and avoiding the central media gauntlet as I try to get to my friend’s booths and play a game of catch up.

You guys easily had the best booth this year.

Lovelynn and I would be totally bummed if you guys didn’t come to the con anymore. The first year I went to Comic Con was to check it out. All the years after was really to hang out with you guys. I understand having to cut costs, but you know you guys can always stay with us to save yourself on hotel costs.

I'm with ya on the love/hate thing man. But y'know the year you don't go you'll miss it. Ask A.K. she was in SF editing the previous years video (which can be seen now, somewhere on facebook or http://www.msmonster.com) and she was totally con-sick missing it. I gotta say it WAS nice to just wander without having to man a booth this year.

I attend to see art and meet artists. Nothing more. I was frustrated about the media overload and non related comic things all throughout the con. The reason it is difficult to physically walk and find booths is because there are far too many extravagant promotional corporate displays in the center of the room. Also: Hall H is ridiculous.

James expressed his and our feelings perfectly. Alot of frustration has been expressed by myself, fellow artists, businesses and attendees alike. Corporations and studios have steamrolled the people again. Literally trying to buy your love w/ free crap and tons of it. Drawing in the lowest common denominator of fan: the scavenger, the star gazer and most recently, the crazy Twilight stalker fans.I think SDCC has hit it's breaking point. We shall see if there are more corporations than us in 2010.
