I’m going to see Coraline at Lloyd Center Mall. (LLOYD CENTER! Can you believe it?!) That is a testament to the strength of Phil Knight’s marketing ability. Even Nightmare Before Christmas 3D was not shown at Lloyd Center. I had to go all the way to Tigard for that one. To have a stereoscopic 3D auditorium right there in NW Portland is a treat in itself. The fact that this is a film that I visited and have since met many of the wonderfully talented people who contributed to its creation makes viewing it all the more special. I’m counting the days till next Friday!

Hey Jamie, I’m glad to hear that you dug it.

I saw the models at SDCC this year, and was really excited to see more. This is probably my most anticipated film of ‘09.

Sounds like Laika is a pretty special place; I like that they were so concerned with doing this movie right.
