I've found that for animation, "crankyness" definitely loves company. That's why Ghostbot works!

Daniel>>Don't Jump! Do another drawing instead.

Dave>>You said it; it depends on the time, the place, the mood, blood-sugar and a whole lot of other stuff... For me, part of the issue is that as I get older, finding focus (the "zone") doesn't come as easy as it used to... and I like to blame that on stuff other than my self.

Loved reading this Jamie. Every situation has it's ups and downs, but depending on a person's fluctuating attitude, a place to work can be the best or it can be the worst. Working at home, sometimes it's the last place I want to be, then sometimes it's a cozy nook that I love dearly (usually rainy days when I can crack a window and smell the wet soil and drink a warm beverage).

I for one just *love* the internal politics of working in a big corporation.

Well, not really, but I guess in some sick way, I'm sort of glad to hear that it occurs in more *creative* companies out there.

I think you're right, it's just human nature in large groups of people to create smaller sub-tribes that want to undermine each other. Sometimes I look out my 5th floor window and wonder if jumping would be less painful.

Yeah, it is really inspiring to hang out with other creatives and be inspired by thier work.

Great post, Jamie! Hits close to Ghostbot home. Especially since it's Brad's turn to take out the trash. What a jerk.

I'm going home...
