Many trailers for hollywood films spoil the experience of seeing them by giving away so much. There is a trailer for a Harrison Ford film out at the moment where it seems that they reveal the entire plot…

I got a chance to see old boy at the Film fest here. The thing is, I had the impression, I can’t remember why, that it was about an old guy sitting around his apartment with his dog, just looking out the window or something. Like a really stoic character piece. So for the first roughly half hour, I seriously had no idea what the hell was going on.
Really dig that fight in the hallway.
I’ll have to see some of the others on your list. Thanks for reccomending them.

Yeah, I’ve heard legends about the “Turkish Spiderman”, but I’ve never seen it. (But, I hope to hunt it down.)

Now, “Turkish Star Wars”? This sounds like a must see *cough* film.

this movie rocks hard yo! i don’t know what it was it just felt fresh and moved along at a good clip. sometimes the subtitles were a bit cryptic which made you have to do a bit of deciphering. overall i felt the movie brought some life and soul into a genre that is old hat. maybe it was partly discovering it before there was much talk going on and…and…
on second thought scratch the rationalizing. Nightwatch still rocks! bring on Daywatch!!!!!!

Sam- was there a sale on Haterade? No love for Nightwatch? Okay, let’s here what you didn’t like about it without giving stuff away to the kids? I admit Jamie, Bosco and the gang kind of stumbled across it so it felt like a nice treasure, a creepy treasure at that. Perhaps it suffered from me overhyping it before you saw it- Guilty as charged! If I could, I would marry the first 15 minutes of that movie!

sam you’re crazy…how COOL is the NIGHTWATCH? at least as cool as most of the vampiric drivel we’ve been assaulted with over the last few years. namely: blade sequels(2 looked nice), underworlds(s) and van helsing.
i mean COME ON…show the russians some love for giving a dying genre some BITE!

Now if you want to watch a great movie you should watch “Rhinestone” with Sly and Dolly Parton, talk about big special effects.
